Centrifuge filters are intended for laboratory filtration, purification, particle removal and clarification through the use of small centrifuges. Centrifuges are small-format filtration devices made of pigment-free polypropylene. A smaller pigment-free polypropylene housing with welded Nylon-66 (CFNN) or PES membrane (CFPL) filters are also placed in the outer tube. After all, the liquid that has to be filtered is brought into the smaller housing for filtration.
These filters are also designed for use with the centrifuge machine, which applies centrifugal force to cause the filtration to take place.
The centrifuge filter with a PES membrane is particularly suitable for clarifying protein solutions. Finally, the PES membrane has a very low protein binding and ensures maximum recovery of the sample.
